Admission to The Friendship School for the 2021-2022 School Year

TFS is a leading magnet school open to all pre-kindergarten and kindergarten aged children who reside in any Connecticut community.
TFS will be accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year from January 1 through March 31, 2021.

To apply for the 2021-2022 school year, students must be three or four years old on or before September 30, 2021. Students who are five years old on or before January 1, 2022, will be eligible for kindergarten.
There is an application process and lottery system for acceptance into TFS. All students applying must submit an application. Students are accepted using an online lottery system.
Beginning in September
of 2017, there is a tuition charge to families of pre-kindergarten
children from all communities. This charge is the result of a change in
the laws that govern magnet schools. LEARN is now required by the State
of Connecticut to charge families based on income and family size. A
family's cost will not be more than $400.00 per month per child from
September 1 to June 30.
