Friendship Family Organization
The Friendship School Family Organization (FFO) includes all the members of our school community. Its function is to help provide understanding about the school to everyone within and outside of our school community and to offer opportunities for active involvement of all members.
Every family member (parents, grandparents, guardians, etc.) is invited and encouraged to become a member of the FFO. In addition to many of the tasks normally done by active school parent groups, there is a strong emphasis on providing growth experiences for all members through parent enrichment and special events.
We provide FREE dinner from 5:00 pm-5:30 pm and FREE childcare during the meeting from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm. New members are always welcome. Participation is highly recommended to enrich your children's and family's experiences at the school.
Several fundraising activities are conducted each year in order to offer family-centered special events for The Friendship School children and their families. Income from fundraising efforts also helps to support The Friendship School teachers and staff with activities such as teacher and staff appreciation efforts. It is our goal to provide an environment where all family members, regardless of schedule, family structure, socioeconomic, racial, religious or cultural background, gender, ability, or language are welcome to participate at whatever level and in whatever way they prefer.
