Curriculum

The kindergarten curriculum is based on the Connecticut State Standards and aligns with Waterford's curriculum. A copy of this curriculum can be found at The Friendship School in the Parent Resource Room. Please see office staff for assistance. Preschool curriculum is based on State Department of Education's Connecticut Preschool Framework. Concepts include:

• Developing the ability to think, reason, question and remember
• Engaging in positive social interaction
• Using language to communicate, convey, and interpret meaning
• Establishing early literacy skills
